Wata Movement

Online Yoga Studio - My Heart Project

In 2020, I founded my own online yoga platform. What began as a few yoga and meditation videos on YouTube soon turned into a full-fledged membership platform with beautifully produced classes, and guided meditations. I also created for platforms like Insight Timer.

For me, it was never “just a project.” It was my heart project. A place where I could share the practices that had changed my own life — yoga, meditation, and simple wellness techniques that help people breathe a little deeper, move a little freer, and feel a little better in their daily lives. Creating and sharing these tools gave me a sense of purpose that went far beyond the screen.

Behind the scenes, though, it was anything but simple. I evolved a lot over the years. I experimented with different membership models, learned a bit of programming (enough to make things work, not enough to call myself a developer), and even traveled to stunning destinations to shoot videos and photography that matched the beauty of the practice. I did everything myself: producing and editing videos, photography, building the brand, creating and managing social media content, collaborations, running the membership including a blog, writing newsletters, managing ads, engaging with the community, and figuring out how to market an idea in a crowded digital yoga world. In short: solopreneurship means becoming a one-person agency.

What did I learn along the way? Enough to fill a book. But the most important part was this: I love creating. I love producing videos and editing them until they’re not just good, but captivating. I love designing aesthetic online spaces where people don’t just scroll, but actually connect. I love building communities that feel warm, alive, and inclusive. And I absolutely love standing out from the crowd instead of blending into it.

Wata Movement was more than a platform. It was proof that when you put your heart into something, it shows — and people feel it.
